The top painting I did in acrylics, “Waiting in the Storm”, and the other is in soft pastels “After the Storm”.  I had a lot of trouble trying to get the right light and colours to show up properly in the photo in the pastel one, its ok but still hasn’t showed the colours up properly.

These were both done awhile ago, and the acrylic one sold very quickly so was lucky, helped to buy more supplies.

  2. Hi kseverny, thank you so much, I wreally wish the photo had turned out better though. I was trying to get it to fill the frame but think I need a better camera for that.

  3. I really like both of these Paintedbrush. The red bench with all that black and white makes such a statement. with all the rain. The sunset is superb even if you can’t get the colors right in the image for us. I love that hint of white in the sky and on the water.

    • Hi lesliepaints, thank you so much, it means a lot to me. I love the red bench also, just enough I think, so its not a dreary painting. Glad I’m not waiting out there though. I really like the pastel one also, its quite dramatic in real life. But I am a sucker for pastels also.

  4. I like them both quite well, but am partial to the red bench scene.
