About

My Blog is mainly about art, acrylics, oils, pastels, graphite, charcoal and watercolour. I am a self taught artist from Australia. Art has always been a passion of mine since I could pick up a pencil and scribble over anything. After many years break from it, I have returned to my long lost love a couple of years ago.   I thank you for taking the time to stop by and visit.

  1. Good morning to you, as it is evening here 🙂

I like your art and the use of colors. When I lived in Mexico, my neighbor was an artist/sculptor who built a three story mermaid with a nude top a few hundred yards away from my home.

He lived in the statue and probably still does, behind the breasts as the back was hollow. I was inside more than once and although it sounds wacky, it was quite a pleasant place.

For some reason, your colors reminded me of some of Armando’s paintings. 🙂

    • Hi ichabod, welcome to my blog and thanks for visiting. Wow, fancy living in a mermaid, would be incredible. Also must be a very talented person. I should imagine it would be a talking point of the town. I love seeing things that are different like that when you travel around, it certainly beats the monotony at times hey. Thank you for the compliment also. I think at times we get a bit downhearted about our work and wonder as to continue on or not. My imaginative creative juices aren’t flowing very well lately and have been looking at lots of different sites to try and get them going again and original ideas with it.
